Food & Meals

Good food matters. Our chef Jamie prepares fresh, nutritious meals and snacks every day, catering for all dietary requirements and allergies.

What we Serve

We are a milk and water only setting; all meals and snacks are served with a drink.
 
Breakfast (07:30-08:30): Cereals and milk.

Lunch (11:30-12:30): Hot, chef-cooked meals in a rolling 3 week menu.

Afternoon Snack: Fresh fruit/vegetables and crackers/rice cakes or homemade bakes.

Tea (16:00): Light meals such as sandwiches, wraps or baked potatoes.
 
We cater to all dietary requirements including allergies, vegetarian, vegan, and cultural preferences.

Patch to Table

Many of the vegetables we serve are grown by the children themselves in our vegetable patch. They dig, plant, water and harvest throughout the year, then see their hard work appear on their plates at mealtimes, connecting children to where food comes from and making them far more excited to eat their greens.

Nutritional Comittment

Manor Farm Nursery holds a Committed Certificate with the Early Years Nutritional Partnership, recognising our commitment to healthy, balanced meals. Our menus rotate on a three week cycle and are displayed in each room and on the Famly app.
 
We take allergies and dietary requirements extremely seriously, creating individual care plans for every child. We cater for food allergies, vegetarian/vegan diets, cultural requirements and texture-modified foods.
