Facilities

Our facilities give children the space and freedom to learn, play and grow. From purpose-built rooms to extensive outdoor areas and the farm itself, every part of Manor Farm is a learning environment.

Our Rooms

Ducklings (3-12 months): Calm space for babies with soft play, sensory resources, sleep spaces and immediate access to an outdoor decking area.

Hoglets & Owlets (12-24 months): Two rooms for more mobile toddlers, embracing opportunities for climbing, messy play and immediate access to an outdoor decking area.

Kits (24-36 months): Bright, spacious room for those children turning two, where we embrace creative play, construction, role play and have immediately access to an outdoor decking area.

Cubs (30+ months): Our younger preschool room is upstairs, with each child having their own peg and drawer. The space includes role play, calming and creative areas, construction, books to spark a love of reading and group learning activities.

Fawns (final year): Our older preschool room is upstairs, with each child having their own peg and drawer in readiness for school. Early writing, maths, role play and choice activities are always available, with plenty of outdoor areas to explore.

Our Play Areas

Each room has direct access to age-appropriate outdoor play spaces with climbing equipment, sandpits, mud kitchens, water play, bikes and space to run. Our sensory garden and vegetable garden provide hands-on learning opportunities.

Our Farm

Beyond our play areas, the farm’s extensive land provides endless exploration. Children visit animal enclosures to feed chickens and collect eggs, watch pigs, groom ponies and care for rabbits. Forest school sessions take place in woodland areas where children build dens and discover nature.

“[the] kindness of teachers, lots of outdoor space and the fact the kids get really messy doing all sorts of creative and outdoor things!”
